Dear AFP Silicon Valley Chapter Members:
The benefits of supporting your AFP Silicon Valley Chapter (AFP SVC) return directly to you! We ask you to consider contributing to the All Aboard Annual Campaign so that we can continue to provide the programs and educational activities that you find beneficial.
Our 2013 campaign goal is $8,000. The campaign runs from March through our May 21st luncheon meeting. We hope to have the support of 100% of our members. We ask you to give at a level that is comfortable for you and demonstrates the value you place on AFP SVC. 100% of your board and 100% of your annual campaign committee members have contributed!
Our AFP chapter has so much to offer! Did you know that our local AFP Silicon Valley Chapter was recognized with a number of awards at the recently held AFP International Conference in San Diego? We received the following acclaims:
- The 10 Star Award for Chapter Excellence, earned every year since its inception
- The highest Chapter Treasury Gift to the AFP Foundation in Chapter Grouping IV (251-400 members)
- The Friends of Diversity Excellence Recognition
Many other chapters are just beginning to offer Masters Programs, Mentorships and Leadership Training. Additionally, we are funding a new collegiate chapter which is hosted at Santa Clara University, committing to the next generation of professional fundraisers. Our benefits just keep going!
Your AFP chapter provides you with opportunities to make connections, acquire knowledge, develop expertise and make new friends. Additionally, your support will help provide numerous member scholarships totaling over $8,200 in 2013. This scholarship money helps fund training for our members, partial registration at the international conference, as well as partial membership fees for those who have just joined AFP. We are partners in your success!
Your gift can be made online, via the mail or given directly at luncheons. Simply select the Donate Now button to make a gift online.
