Master Series
Earn CEU's toward your CFRE!
The Master Series provides a forum for discussion of topical issues and networking opportunities for seasoned development professionals.
Sessions are open to AFP Silicon Valley Chapter members with ten or more years of experience or CFRE certification, and to members of the AFP Silicon Valley Chapter Board of Directors.
Invitations will be sent via email.
Monday, April 4th
Corporate Panel
Silicon Valley Community Foundation
Our first Masters’ Series offering this year will be a continuation of our recent efforts to enhance the education, dialogue and understanding of local corporate philanthropy. We will hear from representatives from four very different corporate models about how they like to engage with non-profits and how they engage their own employees in community giving efforts. The goal of this session is to help attendees continue to think broadly about how they are partnering with corporations and current trends and practices in corporate engagement.
This is meant to be a dynamic conversation and attendees will be encouraged to share their own examples of successful corporate partnerships and will also be encouraged to ask questions.
This year we are planning three Masters’ Series sessions that will explore, at a deeper level, topics being presented at the monthly luncheons or during the audio conferences.
The Masters’ Series provides a forum for discussion of timely issues and challenges and networking opportunities for experienced development professionals.
If there are specific topics that you would like to see included for consideration this year please contact:
Tulin Melton at tmelton@raisingareader.org or Michelle Sklar at mmsklar@siliconvalleycf.org.
