You might be by yourself, but you need not be alone. Based on the best practices of fundraisers show have enjoyed success at small nonprofits, this course provides you with time-saving methods designed for smaller nonprofits with one (or fewer!) full-time fundraisers. You will learn a simple six-step framework, and explore how to recruit and utilize board members, volunteers, and even donors to help you meet your fundraising goals.

- Apply fundraising techniques to the context of a smaller-budget nonprofit

- Devise an action plan to effectively fundraise for your charitable organization
Instructor: Lisa Bennett
Lisa Bennett is the Principal Consultant at The Cornerstone Group, the consulting group she founded in 1988. She began her work in development in 1972, working over a period of years at the central development office at Stanford University, in each of the departments in turn.
Bennett’s specialties include governance consulting, organizational planning, development and campaign planning, feasibility studies, volunteer management, and board development. Her clients include educational and medical foundations, arts organizations, schools, seniors’ and children’s groups, social service agencies, churches, civic justice organizations, and community foundations.
