Masters' Program

Do you have 10 or more years of fundraising experience? Are you seeking education and presentations that fit that experience? Then the Masters' Program is for you.

The Masters' Program offers, high level presentations and discussions in a small group setting.  If you have 10 or more years of fundraising experience and would like to be added to the invitation list, please email your information including the year you started in the fundraising field to info@afpsv.org. You do not need to be a current AFP member.

Topic: The Development Officer-CEO- Board Relationship: Creating Nonprofit Fund Development Results

Nonprofit fund development results depend on an effective Development Officer-CEO-Board relationship. Creating a strong triad among these relationships can be a delicate dance at best and a power-struggle at worst. What are the mutual expectations between the Development Officer and the CEO?  In this session, Mary Hiland will present a framework for thinking about these key relationships.  We will explore together why this “team” matters, the factors that influence success, and strategies to strengthen it.
